Look What Came In The Mail Yesterday!

This is the first time I've held an actual physical copy of Forged in Fire. I never got around to formatting for a paper copy when I'd originally self-published it. I always intended to, but it just never happened. There is something so . . . satisfying about holding that hefty weight in my hand.

I never got that feeling with holding the Kindle when the book was on it. LOL

  1. I just finished this book. It has all the qualities I love in romance...tough alpha male, sexual chemistry etc. I did finish with a major negative feeling however. One of the things that bugged me was the time line. Everything seems to happen in a day. Plus the detailed "dream" of the non-psychic heroine. The major turn off for me was the rape scene and the immediate attraction of secondary character (Jace)felt towards the victim. That was so wrong on so many levels especially after he was a witness to the victim's trauma. Will I read the next book? Absolutely. I want to see how the other characters are developed and where this story goes.

  2. I have the old version of the book and really enjoyed it and would love to read the new version but hate to pay for it again. Is it really different? I also agree on the rape scene

  3. Trish, can't wait to read the next one. I bought your new version in paperback (had read the older one on my Kindle) and loved it. But then, I loved the first one too.

So happy to see all your sales. Whee!!

  4. Congratulations on your success with Forged in Fire! I really liked it. I don't have the same feelings about Mac/Amy. The attraction is not because of the rape, it is in spite of it.

I am looking forward to Forged in Ash. I am going to assume Corsky survives his injuries in FiF. Hate that I have to wait until 2014 for Mac's story.
